Each package I offer varies in the amount of photos included. This is based on my years of experience documenting for different lengths of time. Please know that I don't believe in a strict cut off at a certain number. These are your special moments and memories, and I promise to share them with you.

Living in the tropics, you never know what the weather will do. Oftentimes, we can go 5 minutes down the road and it will be dry there, so a location switch up is possible. If we’re experiencing torrential rain over the whole island, we will reschedule if we can. 

Having said that, I strongly encourage embracing what comes our way and having fun with it. Maui is radiant, colorful and beautiful when the sun is shining. Maui is soft and stunning on cloudy days, not to mention flattering. Know that it is all gorgeous, and if you let go of expectation and lean into whatever the weather is, it will be perfect, and probably just the way it was meant to be for you!

You are absolutely not alone in this feeling. And no worries.. I've got you! I will be there to guide you and to be your friend so that you can feel relaxed and have fun with it. Movement is great for getting out of your head and into the moment, so I'll get you shaking off those awkward feels. Honestly, sometimes those awkward feelings/moments combined with my prompts will bring about your biggest and most genuine laughs.

Yes. I am here to be your guide and to capture your innate beauty. Part of the shoot is me directing you into positions and actions that encourage your authentic selves to shine through. The close and intimate. The fun and silly. The playful. The connection to your loves or to yourself. The other part of our time together is documenting all of the little in between moments that naturally unfold. I'll work with angles (and adjust myself or you if needed), the light, and the gorgeous backdrop of this island to leave you with photos that you feel.

I recommend having a spare outfit as back up (especially with littles that tend to make a beeline for water or anything muddy). You can switch up your look if you would like, just be prepared for changing behind a towel/sheet or tree. Keep in mind that any change of outfit does take away from our shooting time, so I would keep the outfit changes limited.

I don't alter the way you look other than removing anything temporary (blemishes, acne, bruises etc unless you would like them kept in the photo). If removal of the above is extensive, a retouching fee for your fav images may apply. If you are particularly self conscious of something, please let me know ahead of time and I will keep it in mind when posing you.

No. I believe that part of the magic is in the art of editing. One of the reasons you are choosing me is for my artistic eye and for the vibe in the photos you have seen. Make sure my look/vibe speaks to you and that you can picture it in your home and on your walls.

Yes!!! Water play is always so fun. I suggest doing it near the end of the shoot. Kiddos usually love playing in the water or at the water's edge. For you lovers and individuals out there, getting in the water can be fun and full of laughter and/or intimate and sexy. Think about whether you want to go in fully clothed or if you want to have swim things with you. Always have a towel in your car as you'll pretty much always get at least your feet and ankles wet if we are shooting at the beach.

Ah yes! Don't our little ones have such a big range of feels! Luckily, our session will be full of running around and playing. If they still aren't feeling it, I suggest you take a stroll together as a family, go look at some rocks, draw in the sand, play with the waves at the water's edge or simply sit down and snuggle. Not only will it make for authentic photos of your family as it is at this moment in time, but it also takes the pressure off the kids and the stress out of you.. which usually leads to fun and smiles. I have a lot of experience with kiddos and a tired/grumpy start doesn't worry me at all :)

Yes! I love shooting on this beautiful island I get to call home. I also love it when I get the opportunity to shoot on my neighboring islands and around the world. My inter-island travel fee is $600 which includes my flight, a place to stay for the night and a car rental to get me and my cameras to you. Please reach out for info on mainland and international travel packages.

I sure do! You can print directly from your gallery to my fav professional printing labs. The perfect and most easeful way to put your special moments up on your walls/shelves or to give as gifts. If you would like help putting an album together, I will happily set up a design date with you. One of my favorite things to do when I go home is to look through old photo albums. I can get lost in reliving moments from my childhood, or looking at photos of my family through generations. It's a good reminder to not just let photos sit on a computer or on your phone.
